Shop Sales Assistant (Full Time / Permanent Part Time)

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-oriented Shop Sales Assistant to join our retail team.

You will drive revenue by delivering exceptional service, managing point-of-sale transactions, and maintaining a visually appealing sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit & Sizing: Measure customers' feet accurately and recommend correct shoe sizes.
• Product Expertise: Explain footwear technology, materials, and benefits (e.g., arch support, cushioning).
• Stock Retrieval: Fetch requested shoe styles and sizes from the stockroom quickly.
• Add-on Sales: Promote shoe care products, insoles, socks, and related accessories.
• Visual Merchandising: Display footwear neatly according to size, color, and brand guidelines.
• POS Operations: Process cash, card, and digital wallet payments accurately at the counter.
• Inventory Control: Unpack shipments, tag shoes, and organize the stockroom for fast retrieval.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred; footwear sales experience is a strong plus.
• Customer Focus: Patient, attentive, and enthusiastic about helping customers find comfortable footwear.
• Product Knowledge: Willingness to learn about different shoe constructions, leather types, and care techniques.
• Availability: Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak shopping holidays.
