Job Summary

Join our team as a Retail Sales Consultant to provide expert advice on soft furnishing and home décor products, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to achieving sales targets in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate soft furnishing and home décor products to enhance their living spaces
• Deliver clear and professional sales consultations to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships by providing attentive and personalized service
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through effective product promotion and customer engagement
• Acquire and update product knowledge regularly to stay informed about new designs and market trends
• Process sales transactions accurately and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and organized sales environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese to communicate effectively with diverse customers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to meet sales goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in sales of soft furnishing, interior décor, or home-related products is advantageous but not mandatory
• Responsible and well-organized with a willingness to learn and adapt in a retail setting

Other Information

• Salary: Basic salary from SGD 2,800 (subject to experience) plus sales commission
• Working Hours: 5-day work week, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Off Days: Any 2 days between Monday to Thursday; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are mandatory working days
• Work Location: IMM, Jurong East
