Responsibilities:
• Carry out on- site supervision for all construction works for compliance with requirements and specifications including authorities’ regulations. • Review , evaluate and assess the construction proposals to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the specifications and requirements of the works and authorities’ requirements. • Shall attend site, technical, progress, variation and coordination meetings and to archive minutes of meetings in a timely manner. • Maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done including records of tests, inspections, status of work, safety, site diary, material on site and equipment on site, labour force, day works etc. • Participate actively in the closing out and obtaining the necessary permits, RI inspections, partial TOP, TOP, CSC under Building Control Act and Regulations and to ensure all statutory endorsements of certifications required. • Check the correctness and integrity of all form works and steel reinforcements for concrete structural members and make necessary adjustments to ensure that they are the same as in the design. • Check and ensure the correctness of the retaining wall, ground anchor and other soil stabilisation system, as in the design. • Check and ensure the correctness of site clearance in accordance to approved plans from relevant agencies. • Implementation of earth control measures and vector control in compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
• Shall have minimum 3 years of working experiences in supervision works of building and construction. • RTO C&S shall be accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of Institute of Engineers Singapore and the association of Consulting Engineers. • Shall need to attend to night work and urgent site matters ( incidents, emergency response for rectification etc). • Be conversant in local legislation, regulations, and codes. • Able to start early February.
Work Location - CHANGI NAVAL BASE Duration – 30 months Project title - REPLACEMENT OF FENDER AND RE-WATERPROOFING WORKS TO ROOF IN CHANGI EAST AND PIONEER SECTOR 2 Preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
