Roles & Responsibilities:

• Experience as a Junior Civil and Structural Engineer in Singapore.
• Design Earth Retaining and Stabilising Structures (ERSS) and conduct impact assessments using PLAXIS software.
• Design Environmental Control Measures (ECM) in compliance with PUB requirements.
• Prepare demolition plans for BCA submission.
• Prepare Method of Approach and Access (MAA) documents for SCDF submission.
• Responsible for LTA prompt submissions related to road works.

Resident Engineer

(Geotechnical Focus)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer with strong geotechnical expertise and at least 3 years’ experience using PLAXIS software. You will oversee construction projects on-site, ensuring technical accuracy, quality, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site engineering activities, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Use PLAXIS extensively for soil and geotechnical analysis, providing technical support and design verification.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and design requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, promptly addressing technical issues.
• Review and approve method statements, drawings, and reports related to geotechnical works.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams for smooth project delivery.
• Prepare regular progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations on-site.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience using PLAXIS software in engineering projects.
• Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and site construction practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple on-site tasks.
