Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow at the Centre for Sleep & Cognition, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The research will involve the collection of brain MRI data as well as their analysis for neuromodulation.

Purpose of the post

We seek an enthusiastic and self-motivated Research Fellow to join our team.

Main duties and responsibilities

The research fellow is expected to:

1. Oversee the general management of the project and provide administrative support to the project, such as organising regular meetings and update IRB applications;
2. Coordinate the day-to-day running of the project at the study site, e.g. supervise Research Assistants at the study sites, recruitment and data collection at hospitals;
3. Conduct research and maintain trial database, as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
4. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI;
5. Publish research outcomes in top journals.

Qualifications

The applicant should:

1. Have a PhD in neuroscience or related disciplines;
2. be able to work independently and in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail;
3. have first-author publications involving neuromodulation in top tier journals.
