Key Responsibilities

• Partner with APAC business stakeholders to provide practical tax advice on regional and cross-border activities.
• Manage regional tax compliance, reporting, and governance to ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies.
• Lead APAC Transfer Pricing activities, including documentation, compliance, intercompany margin monitoring, and year-end adjustments.
• Advise on international tax matters, including tax treaties, withholding tax (WHT), and permanent establishment (PE) risks.
• Support tax audits, investigations, and inquiries, coordinating with finance teams and external advisors.
• Monitor tax developments and provide proactive recommendations on business and compliance impacts.
• Collaborate with global tax, finance, legal, and business teams to deliver timely tax solutions and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Tax, Law, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; professional tax qualification preferred.
• 7-10 years of international tax experience gained in a Big 4/accounting firm, law firm, or multinational corporation.
• Strong knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing, corporate tax compliance, and cross-border transactions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders within a complex APAC environment.
• Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented, with strong business partnering capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex tax matters into practical business advice.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and manage competing priorities.
