  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding sector, leveraging industry insights and expertise in specific verticals.
  • Strategically pursue and convert prospects into long-term, loyal clients.
  • Build and sustain robust relationships with key accounts to foster customer satisfaction, retention, and incremental business growth.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, resolving concerns and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, assess competitive landscapes, and recommend actionable strategies to penetrate new markets.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, trade practices, and economic trends affecting the freight forwarding industry.
  • Design and execute effective sales plans to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Align individual sales strategies with overall organizational goals and market dynamics.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless delivery of freight solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market feedback to senior leadership.
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings and attend industry events to strengthen relationships and expand market presence.


Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven success in sales roles within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close high-value deals and achieve sales KPIs.
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of air and ocean freight forwarding solutions, market dynamics, and customer expectations.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools for managing leads and tracking performance metrics.
  • Adept at building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities, and converting them into revenue.
  • Self-driven and resilient, with a “can-do” attitude to navigate complex sales scenarios.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in multicultural environments and meet extensive travel requirements.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Analytical thinker capable of formulating actionable insights from market research and sales data.
