Our client, a well-established organisation in the higher education sector, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven professional to lead business growth, student recruitment, and strategic partnerships across emerging international markets.

This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in developing new markets, driving commercial growth, and building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market development and student recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment and revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to penetrate and grow emerging international markets.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with recruitment agencies, educational institutions, government bodies, embassies, and corporate organisations.
• Lead recruitment and marketing initiatives, including exhibitions, seminars, networking events and outreach activities.
• Drive student conversion through engagement with prospective students, parents and partners.
• Monitor market trends, application performance and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage country budgets, forecasts and support the successful launch of new programmes.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless admissions and student experience.
• Travel regularly to assigned international markets.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years' experience in regional business development, market development, partnership management, international sales or student recruitment.
• Proven success in developing new markets, driving business growth and achieving commercial targets.
• Strong experience building strategic partnerships across international markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience within higher education, international education or Transnational Education (TNE) will be an advantage.
• Self-driven, commercially minded and comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
