eCommerce & Returns is a key driver of growth and a critical enabler in achieving our ambitious Strategy 2030 (2X30) goals. The Regional Head of DFS APAC leads the regional agenda for DHL Fulfillment Solutions across two core Account Growth Streams (AGS), playing a critical role in delivering our 2030 growth ambition (€5.5bn globally and €670m in APAC). This role is responsible for translating global strategy into effective regional execution, strengthening operational excellence, and ensuring DFS solutions are scalable, repeatable, and aligned across all APAC markets.

The primary purpose of this role is to continuously enhance the DFS solution offering while providing strategic guidance to APAC countries on how to promote, design, implement, and deploy eCommerce and Returns solutions. This includes shaping key customer engagements and ensuring that solutions address local market needs while remaining aligned with global DFS standards and enabling scalability across regions.

Key Accountabilities

DHL Fulfillment Solution Development

• Define and execute the DFS development roadmap in collaboration with regional DFS leaders
• Set development priorities based on regional needs and customer-driven requirements
• Lead solution enhancements that impact both existing operations and new business opportunities in APAC
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with Business Development, Marketing, Commercial, and IT teams at both regional and country levels
• Ensure DFS solutions are adapted to regional market conditions, regulations, and operational requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams (“pack of wolves”) in selecting and applying the most effective solutions for key opportunities

Solution Scaling and Growth Acceleration

• Translate business requirements and bid strategies into actionable plans, particularly for complex regional tenders
• Enhance DFS offerings by introducing new functional and process modules
• Monitor market trends and competitor developments to continuously improve the DFS value proposition
• Guide IT, project delivery, and operations teams on effective and scalable solution implementation
• Act as a “deal closer” for large, strategic opportunities by building confidence with customers through strong cross-functional expertise
• Prioritize and steer IT development efforts in alignment with business needs
• Partner closely with Business Development teams to monitor pipeline performance and market feedback
• Strengthen feedback loops to improve solution quality, processes, and systems
• Build capabilities within the BD community through coaching, training, and hands-on deal support

Complex IT Development (Strategic Systems)

• Support the development and deployment of standardized, scalable IT templates across systems such as WMS, TMS, Carrier Management, and Returns platforms
• Collaborate with IT experts to define and refine system requirements and solutions
• Ensure thorough testing and quality assurance before deployment
• Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support local and regional teams during bid and implementation phases
• Continuously review performance and identify opportunities for system and process improvements in collaboration with IT and operations teams
