Job Summary

Reporting to the Regional Controller, the Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial close and reporting, statutory and tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls for all entities across the SEA region. This role ensures adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finance operations (AP, AR, GL) across SEA, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing

• Oversee preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analyses

• Review and ensure timely submission of statutory accounts

• Act as the main finance point of contact for all SEA sites

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to drive performance and continuous improvement

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

• Strengthen internal controls through workflow review and process improvements

• Drive standardisation, automation, and efficiency enhancements across finance processes

• Oversee tax and regulatory filings in coordination with tax agents and authorities

• Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA)

• Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or logistics, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience managing Malaysian manufacturing entities and knowledge of Malaysian tax and regulatory requirements is highly preferred
• Proven experience in process optimisation or finance transformation is an advantage
