About our client: Our client is an established international engineering and industrial solutions provider serving the marine, offshore, and industrial sectors across the region.

About the role: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive business growth and develop strategic customer relationships within the marine sector across Singapore and Southeast Asia.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, marine contractors, and other key industry stakeholders.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer support and project execution.
• Travel within the region as required to support business development activities.

About you:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management within the marine industry.
• Strong understanding of the marine market, including shipowners, shipyards, marine contractors, and marine equipment suppliers.
• Established network and industry connections within the marine sector will be highly advantageous.
• Proven track record in developing new business and managing customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with extensive regional travel (up to 90% annually) to support business development activities and customer engagement across Southeast Asia
