Role Overview

We’re looking for a Rednote / 小红书 Social Media Manager who understands the trends and how to plan, create, and manage platform-native content for brands. This role focuses on content strategy, on-camera creation, and account management, working closely with our internal editor and team.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Rednote content strategies and posting calendars for client accounts
• Create and shoot Rednote-style videos; script content when needed
• Design post covers / thumbnails and write captions aligned with Rednote best practices and trends
• Manage and brief our in-house editor on video direction and expected output
• Set up and manage Rednote accounts, ensuring proper positioning and compliance
• Build and execute 个人IP (personal branding) strategies for clients
• Manage basic community engagement, including comment replies
• Source and engage KOLs and UGC creators for client collaborations

Requirements

• Proven experience managing Rednote / 小红书 accounts
• Strong understanding of Rednote trends, formats, and content direction
• Portfolio required (accounts managed + content samples)
• Able to shoot content independently (editing not required but needs to be experienced so as to properly guide the editor on the expected outcome)
• Organised, collaborative, and comfortable working in an agency environment
• Comfortable appearing on-camera as a talent when required
• Mandarin proficiency for content understanding and scripting
