Job Summary
A recruitment consultant drives the sourcing and selection of candidates by developing and executing effective recruitment strategies. This role involves managing client relationships, leveraging recruitment channels, and ensuring compliance with policies to deliver optimal talent acquisition outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract and select qualified candidates aligned with company needs
- Source and screen candidates from talent pools, conducting interviews to evaluate skills and suitability for specific roles
- Collaborate with senior recruitment consultants to build and maintain a network of talent for current and future staffing needs
- Manage recruitment records and data with accuracy, ensuring timely updates and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with candidates and clients to facilitate the hiring process and provide relevant feedback to hiring managers
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure recruitment agreements and align expectations
- Advise clients on candidate selection by assessing applicant qualifications and matching them to appropriate vacancies
- Organize interviews and selection events, coordinating logistics and candidate preparation
- Utilize HR systems and recruitment channels, including international platforms, to optimize talent acquisition efforts
- Identify and acquire new clients to expand the company’s recruitment business and service reach
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their staffing needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions
- Ensure compliance with national, local, and company-wide policies throughout the recruitment process
Required competencies and certifications
- CEI Certification approved by Ministry Of Manpower
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience as a recruitment consultant
- Proficiency in recruitment processes and knowledge of national and company-wide regulations
- Working knowledge of MS Office and common HR tools/software
- Certification in HR, recruitment, or a related field
- Knowledge of Singapore labour market and labour laws
- Hands-on experience with current job boards and recruitment trends
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
