At Salling Search, we partner with some of the world’s leading shipping, trading, and maritime companies across Asia and Europe. We are growing our Singapore team and looking for someone commercially driven, outgoing, and eager to build long-term relationships within the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and grow relationships with clients across the shipping, maritime, and commodity sectors
• Identify new business opportunities and drive lead generation
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer negotiation
• Write engaging job advertisements and headhunt top talent
• Conduct interviews, coordinate meetings, and perform reference checks
• Advise clients and candidates on hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and market insights
• Attend networking events, conferences, and maritime industry functions
• Negotiate recruitment partnerships and deliver tailored hiring solutions
• Maintain accurate records and recruitment activity within internal systems

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of sales or business development experience
• Recruitment experience is a plus, but not essential
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient in a fast-paced environment
• Someone who genuinely enjoys networking, meeting people, and building connections
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player
