Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Rebar Bender to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, bending, and shaping reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to specifications and construction plans. This role is essential for ensuring the structural integrity and accuracy of reinforced concrete work on site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Measure, cut, and bend rebar to specified dimensions using manual and power tools.

* Operate rebar cutting and bending machines safely and efficiently.

* Tag and bundle rebar for delivery to designated work areas.

* Maintain accurate counts and records of rebar used and prepared.

* Inspect finished work for quality and conformance to specifications.

* Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.

* Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Collaborate with supervisors and ironworkers to meet project timelines.

Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years of experience as a rebar bender or in a similar role.

* Ability to read and interpret construction and fabrication drawings.

* Familiarity with rebar bending machines and hand tools.

* Good physical strength and stamina; ability to lift heavy materials.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
