• Conduct experimental research on the various properties of the company's product compounds, analyses and tests to investigate chemical phenomena, to test, develop new product and test methodology or improve raw materials and products.
• Responsible for new product testing and trial run inspection.
• Co-working with customers during testing and development stage on evaluation of the company products.
• Work closely with customers in the development of applications to meet customers' needs.
• Proactively provide customers with required technical support
• Quality System documentation, including TS/R&D projects, test methods & machine operation establishment, risk analysis etc.
• Engage proactively with Customer Development Projects
• To work closely with other department for technical related issues
• Support various customer & certification audits
• Responsible/ownership for purchase of machine, test equipment & other supporting items
• Facilitate tech transfer to production & grade transfer from other SB plant Department representative for company wide activities!

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Materials Science / Polymer.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ of working experience in similar capacity. Those with more than 3 years of experience will be considered for Senior Engineer's position.
• Knowledge of polymer science and semiconductor materials composition.
• Knowledge of IC package encapsulant and semiconductor back-end processes.
• Knowledge in material characterization and/or FA equipments is preferred.
• Experience in DOE, FEM and numerical analysis would be advantageous.
