Quantity Surveyor (ID)

Job Resposibilities:

• Seeking tender opportunity
• Attend Site Briefing before tendering the project
• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings and materials required
• Obtaining sub-contractor’s quotation for various trade
• Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities and discuss with Senior QS for pricing
• Prepare for final submission and follow up with Tender Questionnaire reply and interview
• Monitoring progress and liaise with vendor
• Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure
• Attend site meeting for on-going project
• Submission for progress claim, quotation and VO submission
• Preparing final accounts.
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and are responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract, for agreement of interim payments and the final account.
• Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree holder in QA course
• Has relevant 3 to 5 years of working experiences
• Highly self-motivated and independent, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Gebiz Tender portal will be advantage
• Knowledge of carpentry costing works will be advantage
• Knowledge of interior design works including government, commercial and retail projects
• ID contractor experience preferred
• Able to work under tight schedule and pressure
