• Industry/ Organization Type: Construction
• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Jurong West
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (8am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and administer contracts, including agreements with subcontractors.
• Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, and evaluate tenders.
• Track project expenditures and progress to ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Manage claims, variations, and resolve contractual issues or disputes.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all contract-related matters.
• Assist the project team in achieving project milestones within approved budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with contract legislation, building codes, safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Identify commercial and legal risks and implement mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage with clients, consultants, legal counsel, and subcontractors on contractual and legal issues.

• Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related role, ideally within the construction sector.
• Solid knowledge of construction law and standard contract forms such as FIDIC, PAM, and JKR.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical capabilities.
• Proven experience in managing claims, variations, disputes, and contractual risk exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant quantity surveying or engineering software.
• Competent in AutoCAD for drafting and design work.
