Job Description

To manage the commercial and cost management aspects for thedelivery of theprogramme of investment and planned works.
To provide commercial and cost management support to theprocurement,operations and planning teams.
To accurately measure and value the works undertaken by theoperational teamsand contractors.
A detailed knowledge of Standard Methods of Measurement as theyrelate toboth fabric works and Mechanical & Electrical installationswould beexpected
To work with the project management team to manage consultants,contractors,and their supply chain.
To understand and respect the needs of the end user in respect ofbuildingimprovement and maintenance.
To have a knowledge and understanding of the implications ofhealth and safetyregulations
Assist the designer in reviewing construction plans and preparingquantityrequirements
Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs andthen negotiatewith contractors and subcontractors
Maintain proper documentation for all tenders
Sourcing of quotations and evaluate quotations received fromsuppliers and sub-contractors.
