• Prepare preliminary cost estimates and cost plans based on conceptual or schematic designs.

• Compile Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and conduct quantity take-offs for tenders and projects.

• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations with subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists.

• Monitor project cost performance, maintain cost control systems, and prepare cash flow projections.

• Prepare tender documents, manage the tender process, and provide cost and procurement advice.

• Conduct site visits and evaluate progress claims and variations; issue payment recommendations.

• Attend project meetings and support contract administration.
