Job Description & Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor in the Piping division, you will support the commercial and cost management aspects of piping projects within the marine and offshore sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates for piping systems and associated materials for marine and offshore projects such as vessels, offshore platforms, and related facilities.

• Support the preparation and monitoring of project budgets and cost tracking.

• Monitor project progress and assist in preparing cost reports and financial updates.

• Review supplier quotations, technical specifications, and contract documentation related to piping works.

• Assist in preparing tender submissions and cost proposals.

• Support the tracking of project variations and changes in scope.

• Assist with site measurements and verification of work completed for invoicing purposes.

• Maintain project documentation related to cost reports, variations, and contractual records.

• Ensure work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably in piping, fabrication, marine, offshore, or construction projects.

• Basic understanding of piping materials and fabrication processes is an advantage.

• Familiarity with cost estimation, tender preparation, and contract documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word).

• Knowledge of quantity surveying software such as CostX or Bluebeam is an advantage.

• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
