We are representing a client in the Aerospace industry to hire for a Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance activities for both products and processes involving aircraft engine components, ensuring alignment with regulatory bodies, aviation authorities, and customer requirements.
• Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, instructions, and documentation to support consistent operational standards.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage non‑conformances, carry out root‑cause investigations, and implement effective corrective actions to minimise defects and quality‑related costs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and other functional groups to resolve technical and process-related issues.
• Conduct internal audits on quality systems, manufactured products, and shop-floor processes in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP.
• Perform supplier audits and on-site assessments when required to ensure compliance with agreed specifications and standards.
• Ensure all work adheres to customer expectations as well as applicable regulatory and industry guidelines.
• Support additional quality assurance functions or assignments as needed.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the aerospace production or overhaul environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities along with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management frameworks.
• Familiarity with structured problem‑solving tools such as fishbone diagrams, FMEA, and 5‑Whys.
• Exposure to audits involving special processes — such as heat treatment, plasma coatings, or non‑destructive testing (NDT) — is an added advantage.
• Experience with metallurgical testing or laboratory evaluations would be beneficial.
