Job Description
Key Accountabilities
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full alignment with Singapore EHS regulations and internal company standards.
Risk Mitigation: Lead workplace hazard identification, conduct detailed risk assessments, and implement mitigation programs.
Site Oversight: Execute regular site inspections and safety audits to maintain high operational standards.
Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Emergency Readiness: Coordinate emergency response activities, including evacuation drills and preparedness plans.
Sustainability: Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource consumption.
Safety Culture: Promote a proactive safety culture through training, engagement initiatives, and clear communication.
Integrated Management System (IMS)
ISO Leadership: Maintain and continuously improve the IMS in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
Audit Management: Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including certification and surveillance audits.
Documentation Control: Ensure all IMS documentation is up-to-date, controlled, and properly implemented across the organization.
Performance Reporting: Track IMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare data for management review meetings.
Process Improvement: Support process owners in defining and improving workflows to drive operational excellence.
Training: Deliver awareness programs related to IMS standards and ensure compliance with all company policies.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience. Preference will be given to candidates coming from the Chemical Manufacturing industry.
Standards Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
Local Expertise: Familiarity with Singapore’s specific EHS regulatory framework.
Attributes: A proactive mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in SAP software.
