Our esteemed client in the Chemical Manufacturing industry is seeking a QC Technician to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: QC Technician
• Location: West (Transport provided from designated pickup point)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.15pm during the first3 months; thereafter, the schedule will change to a 12-hour MORNING shift from 8am to 8.30pm
• Salary Package: Up to $2,900 + AWS + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily Quality Control (QC) testing for raw materials, in-process manufacturing, and recurring inspections.
• Assist in root cause analysis for product complaints and production rejects, review records, and conduct stability studies.
• Support supervisors in meeting Quality Assurance (QA) targets, such as First-Time Right (FTR) and performance indices.
• Assist in upholding ISO 9001 standards, managing documentation, conducting internal audits, and ensuring good laboratory practices.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Nitec in a Chemical-related discipline.
• Prior QC experience within a chemical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Possess prior experience in operating lab equipment such as Gas Chromatographs, Differential Scanning Calorimeters, Autotitrators, and Karl Fischer Titrators.
• Comfortable working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
