Job Summary

Perform quality assurance inspections, report abnormalities, maintain inspection records, and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards to support product quality and process control.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection tasks as assigned by the supervisor to ensure product quality
• Conduct in-process inspections and report abnormalities or raise Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMR) when applicable
• Execute outgoing inspections and out-of-box audits to verify product compliance before shipment
• Compile and maintain accurate quality inspection reports for traceability and review
• Maintain proper 5S housekeeping standards in the assigned area daily to support a safe and organized work environment
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) to ensure consistent product quality and safety
• Issue Stop Machine Orders and Stop Shipment Orders when processes or products are out of control to prevent defects
• Authorize product buyoff and apply QC accept/reject stamps to ensure only compliant products proceed

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or 5 credits with ability to understand simple English
• Experience operating inspection equipment such as Smartscope, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), caliper, micrometer, and dial indicator to perform precise measurements
• Basic computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Excel for data recording and reporting
