QC Executive – Food Manufacturing

• $3,500 basic + Variable Bonus
• 5-day work week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

We are looking for a hands-on QC Executive to support daily quality control activities across production, laboratory testing, raw materials and finished goods. You will play an important role in ensuring products meet quality, food safety and regulatory requirements.

🔍 Your Responsibilities

Quality Control & Production Support

• Conduct start-up, change-over and 2-hourly production line checks
• Perform hygiene and GMP audits on production lines
• Manage Product Changeover (PCO) and First-Off (PFO) checks
• Prepare new production work orders and verify production documentation
• Download and review weekly data logger records and follow up on corrective actions
• Manage raw material and finished goods rejection procedures

Laboratory Testing & Documentation

• Conduct finished goods sample checks and submit samples for laboratory testing
• Verify Raw Material COAs against required specifications
• Review, record and maintain accurate laboratory test results and documentation

Raw Material Sampling & R&D Support

• Coordinate with Warehouse on raw material availability
• Prepare sampling labels and packaging, and conduct raw material sampling
• Perform bulk bin weight checks
• Properly seal, label and document samples
• Consolidate sampling activities and submit monthly billing to the planner
• Prepare trial, customer, lock-in, reference and BVAQ samples
• Maintain retention samples and sample inventory records

Environmental Monitoring

• Conduct environmental and hand swab testing
• Perform trend analysis and identify abnormalities
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions

SFA & Export Documentation

• Prepare samples for SFA laboratory testing
• Submit samples and coordinate signatures with collection drivers
• Prepare QP forms and export-related documentation
• Support documentation and photo requirements for SFA export certificate submissions

Halal Compliance

• Maintain valid Halal documentation for raw materials and finished products
• Ensure raw materials have valid Halal certification
• Submit Halal applications for new raw materials and finished products where required

Raw Material & Finished Goods Inspection

• Coordinate with Warehouse to confirm raw material availability
• Conduct checks before production batching begins
• Take and maintain photographic records of finished products, stencils, pallets and production lots
• Support quality and export documentation requirements
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related discipline
• 2 years of QC experience, preferably within food manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in COA verification and laboratory testing is essential
• Well versed in GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000, Halal requirements
• Comfortable working in production and warehouse environments
• Must not have allergies to milk or soy products
