Every wafer that ships from Singapore's fabs starts with piping that was welded right, pressure-tested right, and signed off right. That's the job.

QAM is the QA/QC partner the biggest names in semiconductor — Micron, Intel, TI, and the major foundries — trust to make sure their facilities are built to spec the first time. We're looking for a mechanical/Electrical/Process QA/QC Engineer who takes pride in catching the defect before it becomes a problem, and we'll put you on the largest projects in the region.

If you know your way around a weld map, a helium leak test, and an MOS — and you'd rather be on the floor than behind a desk — read on.

What you'll do

• Own the mechanical and process-piping QA/QC scope on live semiconductor construction sites — UHP and specialty gases, high-purity process piping, CDA, PCW, chilled water and process utilities.
• Run the inspections that matter: weld fit-up and visual inspection, walk-downs against P&IDs, ISO drawings and specs, and hold-point sign-offs that gate the work forward.
• Witness and verify pressure, helium leak, moisture, oxygen and particle-purity testing — and make sure every result is documented and traceable.
• Review and mark up ITPs, method statements (MOS), WPS/PQR and material submittals; verify incoming material authenticity before it's installed.
• Raise, track and close out SORs and NCRs — and coach the crews so the same issue doesn't come back.
• Keep the quality record clean and current in the project's digital systems, right through to testing, commissioning and handover.

What you'll bring

• 4–7 years of QA/QC site experience in semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, oil & gas or comparable high-spec industrial construction.
• Hands-on knowledge of process and high-purity piping: orbital welding, tube fit-up, fittings, valves, pressure testing and leak/purity validation.
• Confident reading P&IDs, isometrics, layouts and technical specs, and applying ASME, ANSI, ASTM and relevant codes.
• A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience), and the discipline to keep documentation audit-ready.
• Comfortable on an active construction site, coordinating with contractors, vendors and owner teams — and not shy about stopping work when quality demands it.

Bonus points: Will to travel, Malaysia, Vietnam, Europe and India. UHP gas / high-purity systems experience, prior work on semiconductor fab or ATM facilities, exposure to CxAlloy / Autodesk ACC or similar QA platforms, and any T&C / commissioning background.
