REGIONAL MARINE & ENGINEERING SERVICES PTE LTD Established in 1995, RMES is a steelwork fabricator with a modest set-up but comprises a group of aggressive and experienced personnel. It has always been actively involved in various steelwork fabrication projects. RMES offers marine and engineering services including the construction, service, and repair of offshore equipment such as those for BOP handling and offloading. In addition, RMES has an oilfield division which deals with re-manufacturing of BOPs and pressure controls, amongst other machinery. Koomey units and control pods are also available for sale or rent. RMES now has over 100 highly skilled employees and quality is ensured. RMES's portfolio of prominent customers includes Transocean, ENSCO, Seadrill, and GE Oil & Gas.

Job Summary

You will conduct and lead quality inspections across manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to drive total customer satisfaction while supporting quality assurance initiatives aligned with QHSE policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections on various manufacturing processes to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Maintain and organize comprehensive inspection records and documentation to support traceability and audit readiness
• Update and manage reference files of drawings and quality control plans to ensure current and accurate information is available
• Liaise proactively with customers on quality matters to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction
• Support the QA/QC Manager by executing quality assurance activities that uphold company standards and continuous improvement
• Lead quality-related investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions effectively
• Perform additional duties assigned by the QA/QC Manager to support overall quality objectives
• Execute all duties in strict accordance with QHSE policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure safety and compliance
• Identify and manage legal, environmental, and occupational safety and health risks associated with work activities to mitigate hazards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Engineering, QA/QC, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within manufacturing or engineering environments
• Proficient knowledge of API 6A & 16A, AWS 1.1, ASME codes and standards
• Familiarity with ISO and API quality requirements and standards
• Skilled in administering quality assurance programs and documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and internal teams
