Business Central Project Manager cum Business Development Manager (BDM)
Location: Singapore

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager cum Business Development Manager with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV). This hybrid role combines project delivery leadership with business growth and client engagement responsibilities.
You will oversee end-to-end Business Central implementation projects, manage client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand our solutions portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in ERP systems, finance operations, and business development, along with proven project management experience using Azure DevOps Boards or JIRA.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Functional Consulting
- Lead, plan, and execute Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
- Work closely with clients to understand business processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and define functional and technical specifications.
- Configure Business Central modules such as Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, Manufacturing, and Warehousing.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, testing, and go-live activities.
- Track and manage project progress, deliverables, and timelines using Azure DevOps Boards and JIRA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, functional consultants, and finance teams, to ensure project success.
- Develop and deliver training, user documentation, and post-implementation support.
Finance & Operations Management
- Supervise financial operations and ensure accurate, timely accounting records and monthly closings.
- Review, analyze, and report financial results including journal entries, AR/AP ageing, and stock ageing.
- Perform cash flow forecasting and facilitate audit processes with external auditors.
- Assess and enhance internal controls, accounting procedures, and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Business Development & Client Relations
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat engagements.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations tailored to client requirements.
- Work with senior management to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Stay updated on Microsoft ecosystem trends, industry best practices, and competitive solutions to drive business expansion.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- 4–8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) implementation and project delivery.
- Strong understanding of Financial Accounting, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain processes.
- Proven experience managing ERP projects end-to-end with tools like Azure DevOps Boards or JIRA.
- Experience in business development, client acquisition, or account management is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certification in Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience with Jet Reports, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools.
- Background in manufacturing or trading industries is an advantage.
