About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering activities for offshore oil & gas projects, specifically CPP (Central Processing Platform) and WHP (Wellhead Platform) developments. The selected candidate will be based in Bangkok for the first 6 months, and subsequently based in Shanghai. This role involves overseeing multi-disciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical quality, and driving project execution across design, fabrication, and offshore phases.

• Lead and manage overall engineering for CPP/WHP platform projects from FEED through execution.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline engineering teams (process, mechanical, piping, electrical, structural, safety, etc.).
• Review and approve engineering documents, specifications, drawings, and technical studies.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, client specifications, and offshore industry standards (API, DNV, ABS, etc.).
• Work closely with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and manage interfaces.
• Monitor engineering schedules, deliverables, and technical risks; implement corrective actions where needed.
• Support procurement activities, technical bid evaluations, and vendor qualification.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and offshore hook-up.

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of offshore engineering experience, with strong exposure to CPP / WHP platform projects.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Familiar with offshore design codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME, DNV, ABS).
• Experience in EPC/EPCIC project environments.
• Prior involvement in fabrication yard or offshore commissioning.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to relocate — Bangkok (first 6 months), then based in Shanghai.
