Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for a Project Engineer to support engineering project planning, coordination, and execution in a transit or infrastructure environment. The role includes reviewing submissions, supervising site works, and coordinating stakeholders for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project-related technical submissions, including specifications, drawings, test procedures, and method statements, and coordinate follow-up actions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Supervise site installation, testing and commissioning activities, including interfacing, integration testing, defect rectification, and handover works to ensure quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with internal project teams, contractors, interfacing contractors, and relevant stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes.
• Support project planning activities by monitoring work schedules, reviewing progress updates, and assisting in project reporting to ensure alignment with approved timelines.
• Attend project, coordination, and interfacing meetings to support effective communication and timely project delivery.
• Assist the project team in managing project-related activities to ensure smooth execution and completion of works.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Recognized Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, site installation, testing, and commissioning of engineering systems or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working in a transit, transportation, or infrastructure environment, including coordination with operators, authorities, or relevant stakeholders for system upgrades, alteration & addition (A&A), or new system implementation works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with design and drawing review tools such as AutoCAD, BIM, or equivalent software.
• Able to work independently with good initiative, while demonstrating strong teamwork, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including night or engineering hours, and travel between office and project sites as required.

• Salary: $5,000 - $6,700 per month
