Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction/project works.

• Prepare project schedules, method statements, and work programs.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.

• Monitor site progress, quality of work, and compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

• Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documents.

• Attend site meetings and toolbox meetings; follow up on action items.

• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on site.

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved plans and statutory requirements.

• Assist in cost control, variation orders, and progress claims.

• Maintain proper project documentation and records.
  

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline).

• Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).

• Experience in construction or project-based environment is preferred.

• Familiar with project coordination, site supervision, and technical documentation.

• Knowledge of local authority requirements and workplace safety regulations is an advantage.

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.

• Willing to be stationed on site when required.
