Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager – Role & Responsibilities (Tender Submission)
The Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager shall be responsible for the overall coordination, planning, execution, and monitoring of the project to ensure timely completion within approved scope, quality, safety, and budget. Key responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and stakeholder coordination; preparing and managing project documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, permit-to-work applications, technical submissions, and progress reports; conducting regular follow-ups with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution; supervising daily site activities and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety regulations, and statutory requirements; coordinating manpower, materials, equipment, testing, commissioning, and handover activities; and ensuring proper documentation control, quality assurance, and timely project close-out.
