About the Role | Leadership Track (Multiple Advancement Pathways)

An established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in large-scale building projects is seeking a high-potential Project Engineer as part of its long-term succession and leadership development strategy.

This role is designed for ambitious, hands-on engineers who are keen to grow beyond site execution and be systematically groomed into senior leadership roles, with multiple career progression pathways across project delivery and construction management.

High performers will be developed and promoted into roles such as:

• Project Manager

• Construction Manager

• Project Director

• Other senior project and operations leadership positions

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing day-to-day site operations for building projects

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution

• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications

• Support planning, scheduling, manpower, and resource coordination on site

• Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings

• Attend site and coordination meetings; support progress reporting to management

• Proactively identify site challenges and contribute practical, solution-oriented inputs

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Prior building construction experience with a main contractor is required

• Strong learning mindset, positive attitude, and ambition to grow into leadership roles

• Hands-on, resilient, and willing to take ownership in a site-based environment
