Responsibilities:

• Manage entire project teams from award to handover
• Overall responsible for successful conclusion of multiple construction projects
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to Project Managers to implement decisions
• Meeting with Clients, Stakeholders and Project Managers to report on project progress
• Liaise with client and consultants to resolve any critical issues, budget control and build strong working relationships
• Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
• Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or other relevant built environment disciplines from an accredited institution
• Min 20 years of project management experience in Construction industry
• Possess proven experience and strong track record in managing and delivering large-scale, complex projects, preferably within airport/aviation related development, high-security facilities, or integrated resorts environments
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Able to communicate in English and Japanese language (to handle queries and feedback from Japanese speaking associates/clients)
• A team player with good communication skills
