Gym Tonic is a safe, evidence-based, and AI-backed strength training program designed for seniors. Our goal is to mainstream the often-neglected strength training for the seniors, helping them regain muscle strength, mobility, stability, agility, and balance. With more local and overseas sites adopting Gym Tonic, we are now looking for a passionate and driven PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, constantly challenged to innovate, acquire new skills, and work on diverse projects. Because of the multi-faceted role and myriad of exposures, you will have ample opportunities to try new things, attend professional courses/ training and work directly with end-users such as wellness coaches, exercise therapists, physiotherapists and operations staff. The boundary to learning is only limited to the skills and potential of the individual.

Here are your primary duties:

Candidate is expected to play a pivotal role in championing, driving and supporting the innovative and evidence-based Gym Tonic program. Below is the job scope:

• Work closely with various Gym Tonic sites to support their operations, roadshow, recruitment drive and open house to enroll community dwelling seniors for the program
• Support in-house Gym Tonic operations and participating seniors for their routine strength training sessions
• Develop and improve operating manuals/ SOPs and service quality checklist to help organizations to prepare, setup and run the Gym Tonic program
• Organize and conduct professional 101 and 102 training for therapists, fitness coach, wellness coach from various Gym Tonic sites. Promote community of practice, organize regular workgroup meetings and year-end event for management and GT trainers and staff
• Conduct in-house research studies, including perform frailty/ vulnerability assessment and screening, conduct pre-and-post assessment using Gym Tonic protocol and supervise elderly training
• Work closely with local or overseas research institutions/ universities on applied research (e.g. randomized controlled trial). He/she is expected to do regular research and literature reviews
• Involve in the conceptualization, improvement and testing of Gym Tonic software and other technological innovations/ development (e.g. Kiosk)
• Work closely with partners and stakeholders on various press/media, advocacy, awareness and marketing events and/or related activities (e.g. video testimonies, website, posters, etc)

Requirements:

Here are the requirements for this position:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sports Sciences, Wellness, Health Management, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or relevant Allied Health qualifications from a recognized university or polytechnic (local or overseas)
• Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant experience (candidates without experience but with the right qualifications and potential will be considered).
• Enjoy interacting and working with elderly
• Experience in geriatric care, fitness/wellness and allied health areas will be an advantage
• Experience in data capturing, statistical and research analysis will be an advantage
• Good organisational skills
• Good communication, teamwork, writing and interpersonal skills
• Training, professional development and continuing education will be provided
