Job Description

Our client is a well-established MNC and a global leader in industrial automation and manufacturing solutions. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Production Supervisor, in hopes of strengthening their operations team. They are located in the (West Region) - 2 Ways Company Transport at clementi MRT.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri | 3.30pm to 12am (fixed)
Junior: $4k max + Daily Shift Allowance
Senior: $6.5k max + Daily Shift Allowance

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily shopfloor activities and coordinate manpower allocation to meet production schedules and output targets.

  • Support the Production Manager in managing production operations, ensuring workflow efficiency and minimal downtime.

  • Plan and optimize resource utilization using lean manufacturing principles.

  • Address operational issues such as material shortages, bottlenecks, and equipment or staffing constraints.

  • Maintain and update operational documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.

  • Ensure production areas meet housekeeping and organization standards.

  • Monitor indirect material stock levels to ensure continuity of operations.

  • Track production waste and initiate internal processes for disposition and corrective actions.

  • Compile production data, track KPIs, and prepare periodic operational performance reports.

  • Participate in safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with workplace regulations and internal policies.

  • Drive initiatives related to process optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supervising production operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of production planning, workflow control, and shopfloor management.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline with relevant supervisory experience.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) will be advantageous.
