Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily injection moulding operations to meet production schedules for automotive components, including manpower allocation and overseeing multiple moulding lines to achieve productivity targets, cycle times, and output efficiency.
• Ensure all products meet automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001), work closely with Quality Assurance on in-process checks and non-conformance issues, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality deviations or customer complaints.
• Oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up and shutdown, and parameter settings, while optimizing machine performance to improve product consistency, reduce scrap, and troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Supervise, coach, and train a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers, including conducting training on safe machine operation, work instructions, and 5S practices, while managing team performance, discipline, and shift handovers.
• Ensure daily machine maintenance checks are carried out and coordinate with the maintenance team on preventive and corrective maintenance for injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and PPE usage, promote a clean and organized environment through 5S and Kaizen practices, and report and assist in investigating workplace incidents or near-misses.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of injection moulding experience
• Familiar with IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and related quality tools
• Hands-on experience with machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc or similar
