Job Summary

The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met efficiently. This role acts as a key link between production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Liaise with production teams to ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are available and properly allocated
• Track production progress and resolve bottlenecks or delays in a timely manner
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation
• Assist in production planning, forecasting, and capacity analysis
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet required standards
• Communicate with internal departments (sales, logistics, etc.) regarding order status and delivery timelines
• Support inventory monitoring to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in planning and coordination roles is preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
• Understanding of production processes and workflow
• Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain operations
• Ability to analyze production data and generate reports

Working Conditions

• Based in manufacturing plant environment
• May require shift work depending on production schedule
