Title : Procurement Executive (Construction M&E Industry)

Job Location : Kaki Bukit (HQ)

Reporting : Head of Procurement Department / Project manager

Working Days : Monday to Friday ( 8.30am to 5.30pm)

The Procurement Executive main duties will be manages the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery for projects

To negotiate with vendors, process purchase orders, and ensure compliance with project specifications, typically requiring a construction or supply chain background.

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; maintain a preferred vendor list. 
• Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs. 
• Procurement Operations: Process Purchase Orders (POs), review requisitions, and manage contract documentation. 
• Project Coordination: Liaise with project managers to align purchases with site requirements and project timelines. 
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure materials meet technical specifications (ISO standards) and comply with company policies. 
• Logistics & Tracking: Coordinate delivery of materials to sites and track inventory levels. 

Requirements

• Experience: Previous procurement experience, minimum 2 years, specifically within construction or engineering firms. 
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. 
• Software:  Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). 
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
