Job Summary

The Procurement Officer leads sourcing and purchasing of goods and services essential for office operations, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and purchasing of office-related goods and services including uniforms, office supplies, company equipment, and insurance packages to support operational needs
• Evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery terms to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes
• Manage procurement of employee gifts for special occasions such as Labour Day and Chinese New Year, ensuring timely and appropriate fulfillment
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather and clarify purchasing requirements, aligning procurement activities with business needs
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and confirm receipt of goods to maintain uninterrupted office operations
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier documentation to ensure transparency and audit readiness
• Monitor inventory levels of essential office supplies and initiate replenishment to prevent shortages
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and budget constraints to uphold governance standards
• Manage supplier relationships proactively, addressing and resolving issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery to sustain service levels
