Work closely with Project Teams to understand deliverable requirements of Project and ensure the early involvement to allow the Procurement Function time to structure an approach in line with Policies, Procedures and Governance, both internally and externally to the project.

• Procure, negotiate and evaluate with local and overseas suppliers/vendors for materials/hardware/spares/services purchase;
• Fulfill the purchasing process in accordance with company policy including Request for Quotations, Price Negotiation/Comparison, Approval Process, Purchase Order issuance, Ordering and On-Time Delivery, Invoicing, Payment Reconciliation to Finance Department for suppliers/vendors etc. as per Project Requirement;
• Coordinate with the project team and suppliers/vendors to make sure the delivery goods are in line with internal requirements in terms of quality, specification and on-time delivery etc.;
• Periodic review on the Approved Suppliers List, payment terms, product/service quality, price etc.
• Other duties as and when assigned

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma Holder in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Min 2-3 years of experience in Procurement/ Purchasing and preferably in the Construction Sector.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office and Presentation.
• Meticulous, good in planning, organizing and excellent team spirit.
• Good communication skills in verbal and written English and able to converse in Mandarin as needed to liaise with China associates.
