Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Purchasing manager to source and evaluate new vendors for supply of identified materials for company’s portfolio of business.
• Able to negotiate with new and existing vendors to ensure supply of material in most cost-efficient manner within agreed price target and budget.
• Working closely with sales team to track and monitor delivery of purchased items within agreed schedule and confirm delivery of items per agreed specifications by respective vendors.
• Conduct periodic review of existing vendors, provide, negotiate and execute recommendations to ensure vendor performance on pricing, quality and delivery.
• Provide support to management in reviewing and recommending sourcing / procurement policies including use of appropriate tools to meet company’s evolving business needs.
• Issuance of Purchase orders and expediting of delivery in timely order
• Develop analysis tools with system to enhance job and intensify control and continuous improvement
• Fully co-develop and implement sub-con control and tracking with local and overseas vendors
• Driving cost reduction project with monthly report and action items

Requirement:

• Minimum diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategic sourcing position
• Able to manage a multitude of projects and/ or vendors simultaneously
• Meticulous and strong attention to details to ensure correct capture and issuing of orders
• Work experience in similar position within manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of procurement best practices, contract agreement, financials and cost analysis
• Experience in logistics and familiarity with incoterms will be advantageous
