Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the full age range to build foundational knowledge and skills in students according to the school’s curricular programmes
• Design, prepare, and implement lesson plans that support and enhance learners’ understanding of the subject.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, setting measurable goals for improvement and providing detailed reports to parents during meetings
• Lead and participate in extra-curricular activities, school events, assemblies, staff training sessions, and meetings to contribute to the school community
• Promote and maintain health and safety standards within assigned classes to ensure a secure learning environment
• Apply inquiry-based learning techniques to foster critical thinking and student engagement in the classroom

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification certificate
• Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher
• Possess strong knowledge and practical experience teaching languages at the Primary Level.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in an international school environment
• Demonstrate passion and ability to deliver inquiry-based learning approaches
• Candidates with additional experience may be considered for higher-level positions
