Explorer Academy is a Science specialist tuition centre with over 12 years of results. We are looking for a Primary School Science Programme Lead who teaches well, leads with conviction, and takes genuine ownership of student outcomes.

You will shape how Primary Science is taught at EA, set the standard for the team, and make sure every student in the department moves forward.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

• Teach assigned P3–P6 Science classes using EA's structured methodology
• Identify each student's learning gaps

Programme Oversight

• Own the Primary School curriculum - keep it current, rigorous, and results-focused
• Identify gaps in the programme and propose improvements
• Track MOE syllabus changes and ensure EA's programme responds ahead of time

Teaching Quality Assurance

• Ensure all Primary School tutors are teaching in line with EA's approach and standards
• Conduct lesson observations and give structured, direct feedback
• Onboard and guide new tutors into EA's teaching methodology

Student Academic Performance

• Monitor learning and academic progress across all P3–P6 students cohort
• Maintain clear communicate concerns to parents promptly

Termly Revision Programme

• Plan and coordinate the Primary School exam prep programme each term
• Oversee development of revision materials
• Debrief the team after each revision cycle and refine the approach for the next term

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Science or Education, with strong command of Primary Science content
• At least 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the primary level
• Proven track record of improving student results
• Strong organisational skills
• Comfortable giving direct feedback to colleagues and holding standards
• Proactive mindset - you notice problems and act on them without being asked
• Genuine interest in how Science is taught, not just whether students pass
