Job Summary

Deliver engaging early childhood education by planning and executing lesson plans and activities that foster children’s learning and development. Collaborate with parents, communities, and colleagues to create a supportive and enriching environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and deliver lesson plans to support children’s learning and potential development
• Plan and organize meaningful activities and events, including field trips and concerts, to enhance children’s educational experiences
• Create and maintain an inviting, enriching classroom environment that promotes active learning
• Provide routine care for young children to ensure their well-being and comfort
• Engage parents and community stakeholders to support children’s learning progress and development
• Communicate periodic updates on children’s learning and development to parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Principal to achieve and maintain Centre License, SPARK accreditation, and Healthy Eating for Preschool standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Ability to write and deliver lesson plans
