Your Role
As a Plant Biotechnologist, you will play a key role in executing and supporting research initiatives with precision and consistency. Working closely with scientists and research teams, you will help drive high-quality outcomes by maintaining rigorous lab standards and contributing to continuous improvement in research processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute plant biotechnology experiments and tissue culture protocols with accuracy and consistency
• Support development and optimization of gene editing and transformation workflows
• Manage multiple experiments and tasks across different project stages
• Prepare and process samples for downstream applications such as sequencing
• Maintain detailed, accurate laboratory records in line with research requirements
• Ensure proper upkeep of laboratory equipment, reagents, and shared workspaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional research teams and communicate progress or challenges effectively

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Plant Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong foundation in molecular biology techniques and laboratory best practices
• Familiarity with equipment such as PCR/qPCR systems, gel electrophoresis, centrifuges, and microscopy tools
• Ability to interpret, adapt, and execute experimental protocols with precision
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in both lab work and documentation
• Comfortable working in a dynamic research environment with evolving project needs
