The Plant and Machinery Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and operational readiness of all construction-related plant and equipment. This role ensures optimal performance, safety compliance, and cost-efficiency across all projectsites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of heavy machinery, tools, and vehicles.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Ensure all equipment complies with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards and asset integrity protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, spare parts, usage, and location.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment mobilization and demobilization across sites.
• Plan storage and transportation in alignment with project timelines.
• Monitor equipment-related expenditures and optimize resource allocation.
• Negotiate with suppliers and manage equipment-related budgets.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and mechanics, including task assignment and training.
• Maintain accurate documentation and report regularly to senior management.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on equipment-related expectations, safety standards, and operational updates.
• Travel overseas as required to support equipment operations, inspections, or project coordination.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and safe work practices at all times.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in plant and equipment management, preferably in construction and foundation works, including bored pile, diaphragm wall, driven pile, micro pile etc.
• Strong knowledge of machinery operations, maintenance protocols, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Excellent leadership, planning, coordination, and communication skills.
