Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Costing, M&E, and Business Departments on tender requirements.
- Work closely with the Construction team on tender planning and EHS matters.
- Assist and attend subcontractor/supplier meetings related to tender preparation.
- Ensure proposed plans comply with drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.
- Prepare project schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent) covering the full construction timeline from commencement to TOP.
- Propose temporary site facilities and construction methodologies for tender planning.
- Develop suitable construction sequences for structural and architectural works in line with contract and authority requirements.
- Study and recommend cost-effective ERSS solutions to support the costing team.
- Provide technical support to the tender team in responding to consultant queries.
- Estimate manpower and resource requirements for tender projects.
- Work with the Project team to implement proposals once the tender is awarded.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings, highlighting discrepancies or value engineering opportunities.
- Participate in site safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety and workmanship standards.
- Review construction plans submitted by project teams and coordinate with Japan HQ for approval.
- Support office management in improving site EHS standards.
