Permanent Occupational Therapist
CLINICAL

• Conduct assessments using appropriate tools to evaluate patients’ self-care, work, and leisure participation.
• Develop, implement, and update treatment plans and goals during inpatient stay.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend case management meetings, and participate in discharge planning with patients, families, and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Supervise and instruct Occupational Therapists and Therapy Aides, managing both own and junior therapists’ caseloads.

PROFESSIONAL

• Practice according to AHPC Code of Professional Conduct and maintain patient and organizational confidentiality.
• Supervise, appraise, and mentor therapists, therapy aides, undergraduate and post-graduate students, and foreign-trained therapists.
• Lead workshops, seminars, clinical research projects, and develop clinical standards.
• Liaise with external agencies and coordinate new therapy programs.

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Update patient statistics and assist in policy implementation and review.
• Maintain therapy equipment and provide coverage or leadership for outpatient services, therapy aides, and nursing home rehabilitation as required.
• Undertake additional tasks or projects assigned by the Head of Occupational Therapy.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Follow and implement health and safety regulations; participate in safety programs.
• Complete mandatory courses (CPR, Manual Handling, Fire Safety) and follow infection control protocols.
• Identify, report, and resolve potential hazards or incidents promptly.

Job Details

• Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per visit
• Commencement Period: FY2026
• Senior therapist are welcome to apply
• Bachelor or Masters in Occupational Therapy
• Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
